Mezalocha, in the left margin of river Huerva, is provided with approximately 350 inhabitants, his scenery is rural, fully of barranqueras and roquedales.

Of the Mezalocha establishment it is had from the XIIth century, but recently remains of the epoch have found imperioal Roman in the called game of Santa Catalina, dated between the Ist century and II A.D.

Of his city center we stress the parochial church of San Miguel Archangel, of baroque style, constructed in the XVIIth century. Of interior decoration the interesting plasterings attract attention baroque - Mudejar. It presents, also, reredoses of the XVIIIth, as of Our Lady of the Hope, where he emphasizes an image of Virgin dated in the XIIIth century. The tower, of square plant and Mudejar style, turns in octogonal into the top part. (ftes and text to see links)
