Trasobares is in the left margin of the river Isuela (term derived from “Hijuela ”, small water course), in a hollow to I protect of the north wind. The population is between Tierga and Calcena, in the vale of the Isuela.

Three buildings are the most outstanding of this small locality: the Cistercian Monastery, the church of Our Lady of Asunción, and the chapel of San Roque.
